Open Source Sprint is India's largest open source hackathon — a 24-hour building experience hosted at Malla Reddy University, Hyderabad, Telangana, on October 14–15, 2026. Powered by ElevenLabs, the event offers ElevenLabs prizes worth ₹4.5 Lakh+, along with exciting additional prizes and swags. Teams of 2–4 are welcome to participate, with zero entry fee. The event follows an Open Innovation format — no fixed tracks or themes — giving participants complete creative freedom to conceive, build, and ship any idea they're passionate about over a single, continuous 24-hour sprint. Presented by Beyond, with Malla Reddy University as the Venue Partner and Unifesto as the Event Tech Partner, Open Source Sprint brings together developers, designers, and innovators from across the region for an immersive, all-night building experience — complete with food, breaks, mentorship, and two rounds of evaluation — culminating in every project being open sourced on GitHub.

Who can participate?

Open to all students, developers, and open source contributors — no prior hackathon experience required.

What's the team size?

Teams of 2–4 members. Solo? We'll help you find a team on the day.

Is there an entry fee?

No, entry is free.

Do I need a project idea beforehand?

No — this is an Open Innovation hackathon with no fixed tracks or themes. Bring an idea if you have one, or form it with your team on the day.

What do I need to bring?

Your laptop, charger, and any hardware your project needs. We'll provide meals, refreshments, and a workspace for the full 24 hours.

What happens to what we build?

Every project gets uploaded to GitHub, collaborated on through Beyond's official account, and released as open source.

Is it beginner-friendly?

Yes — dedicated support is available for first-timers looking to land their first open source contribution.
